We welcome Michigan native and world traveler Claudia Schmidt back to our stage. As a touring professional for over 30 years, she has traversed North America as well as Europe performing in venues ranging from intimate clubs to 4000 seat theaters, and festival stages in front of 25,000 rapt listeners.
Accompanying herself on guitar and dulcimer, Claudia’s music includes folk ballads new and old, torch songs, jazz, spoken word, and everything in between. Her live performances are always energetic and joyful.
This performance will be the final event of the day long Jensen Center Festival of Chocolate and Claudia has promised to recite a special chocolate poem for the occasion. A portion of the concert’s proceeds will go to support youth programs at the center.
